Tea Party member

I am a proud member of the New Milford Tea Party Patriots and I support the Tea Party movement. I joined because I would like to vote for a candidate that I believe in, someone who represents me and my beliefs. I have been an active voter since I became of legal age and have found that I usually have to vote against someone as the lesser of two evils rather than having a candidate that I could support.
This is a message to the GOP; The Tea Party is not your attack dog. We are not about putting Republicans in office. In many cases GOP candidates hold values closer to the values we hold, so we support them. When a GOP candidate does not reflect our values and goals we will find and support one who does. If the GOP wants the support of the Tea Party then it must back the candidates we support. You are asking to be our representative voice in the government, you will be working for us, not the other way around.

We could be living in the prequel to this story, we are allowing the magic to be taken from us and setting up a desolate future. The magic in this case is personal freedom and the knowledge of the rules set down for our self government. We are allowing a large and corrupt government to take control of our lives giving away our ability to make the choices that are right for our selves and communities.
